Consciousness, universality, nature, the infinite, connectedness, metaphysics, harmony, rhythm, melody ... soul, jazz, acoustic, classical, balearic, electronic soul, leftfield techno etc etc. This one is an extra long, lovingly crafted mixed bag inspired by the philosopher Alan Watts. It's a cosmic, natural, free floating all encompassing celebration exploring the inner and outer worlds. Starting in orbit, coming back down and soothing you and carrying you away again. Sit back and enjoy.

Sessions#1

Some fun for a Saturday. After a an intro from Atjazz there's some garage influenced sounds, it goes a bit deep house then a bit classic house, then a little techno before ending with some soul and jazz. Check the 17 minute epic from Bobby Hutcherson.

Zentrip 22

The opening track of this mix really does set the tone and is off the best release of this year for me. Zentrip 21

As the reality of the finite nature of the sun kissed summer dawns on us, this journey will transport you with some of the ethereal sounds that really encapsulated it for me. It's a fitting tribute to all those times in the park, on the beach, in a field, in those daydreams. Koreless, Taragama Pyjarama and Vakula being particularly inspirational for me.

Mountain Range - a silence of three parts
Legowelt - dare to dream
Liston - something new
Kyson - missing things
Bilal - right at the core

Beyond the Sun ][ Summer 2013

You will rise, you are beyond the sun, you are the black gold of the sun.

Starting off in space with a King Britt project and some Comic guitar soundscapes from Carlton Melton. Break through the atmosphere, glide across the oceans with Taragama Pjyarama and Larry Heard. Settle on a beach for a while with some classic soul; an exquisitely mellow grooved out edit of a Roberta Flack song, Rotary Connection and a track featuring Maya Angelou reading her empowering poem Still I Rise.

Then the party gets started, Womack and Womack, Thundercat and heaps of Todd Terje and Freddie Joachim edits!!!

Zentrip 10 *Special Edition*

This is the sound of a summers day spent in that field. You were dozing on and off, waking only briefly. It all got a bit blissed out and hazy, like the time you were basking in the after that party, like floating in a dream. The tenth edition of my Zentrip series is a special one. It's extra long and the good folk at Mixcloud have taken off the 100mb limit just in time. My Zentrip mixes have become the most popular of the mixes I've shared with the cloud and I'm happy about that because I put a lot of my heart and soul into them. So thanks everyone for listening, I hope you continue to enjoy them.

Thank you
